Rotork is a market leading global provider of mission critical intelligent flow control solutions. The IQ3 Perform is designed as an entry point into the IQ3 range, offering essential performance, reliability, and operational clarity - a range celebrated for its quality, reliability, distinctive design and strong resonance with customers worldwide. The challenge was clear: develop a second-tier product that seamlessly complements the premium IQ3 Pro while remaining strong and distinctive in its own right

We design professional products for a number of industries. Design features communicate important attributes of the user experience such as reliability, quality and of ease of use, they are not solely styling decisions. The project started with identifying the key elements of the design of the existing flagship product. These were categorised into simple terms that reflect the core values of Rotork. With these parameters understood a new industrial design was created for a product that lives harmoniously within the Rotork family and communicates intelligence, reliability, ease of use, ruggedness and sophistication
