the brief
Building on their leading expertise in autonomous lawn robots STIGA required an Industrial Design for their new large robot that can cover up to 14000 square metres. New AI integrated camera technology needed to be packaged inside a design that would happily sit alongside the other award winning robots.
the design
This was a truly concurrent design exercise between Lamb Industries, STIGA in-house design and STIGA engineering. The final specification of the camera module was being developed while each design unit developed a new model, ensuring a co-ordinated look and feel and maintaining alignment with the STIGA industrial design guidelines. Our design for the largest model has a purposeful stance and crisp detailing to complement the power and range of the machine and its super accurate lawn care mission.
